Medical Claim Negotiator

As a Medical Claim Negotiator, you will be responsible for reducing the medical payment costs for our customers and their members. You will work with medical provider offices to verify billing information and establish acceptable levels of reimbursement. You will thoroughly document your communication, resolve any issues and make recommendations to improve our services.

Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for monitoring claim flow, performing as liaison between HRGi and its clients, providing support to all team members to achieve timing and savings goals. Provide prompt, courteous and excellent service to all customers, both internal and external.

Qualifications

The best candidates for this position will be successful if they possess the following skills:

  • Minimum 3-5 years related work experience
  • Ability to type at least 65 WPM (you will be tested)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new computer programs, strong keyboard and navigation skills, and familiarity with Office Suite
  • Results oriented, focused, tenacious, and reliable

Claims Pricing Specialist

As a Claims Pricing Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating the pricing of medical claims, utilizing provider contracts and schedules including Medicare, Medicaid, UCR and Network contracts.

Essential Functions

  • Monitor and manage the assigned pricing queues. This includes accurately pricing claims, document and completing all tasks within the required turnaround time.
  • Interface with pricing vendors, medical providers and/or client, as appropriate, to gather information and problem solve. Facilitate and manage appeal resolution.
  • Perform research internally and externally (via internet and/or outside agencies) to obtain supporting information to price claims.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of medical coding and contract rate reimbursement policies and procedures for pricing medical claims.
  • Meet or exceed production and accuracy requirements.

Qualifications

The best candidates for this position will be successful if they possess the following skills:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 to 4 years healthcare related experience, preferably as an examiner or pricer
  • Experience within different lines of health insurance industry including commercial, workman's compensation, auto, Medicare, and/or Medicaid
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD10 coding, CPT codes, revenue codes, claim payment methodologies, and UB04 and 1500 claim forms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new computer programs, strong keyboard and navigation skills, and familiarity with Office Suite
  • Results oriented, focused, tenacious, and reliable
